Day 0.5: Night-shift Greeting

We were asked a couple of days ago if we would like to help fill the shortfall in staff to help meet and greet participants arriving at the site.

We gathered at the HQ in Echo ready to volunteer our time until 5:00 the next day. We are crazy people!

As it happens, we were reserve staff for the night and no buses arrived… So there ended up being about 10 or so of us who spent the night playing games, telling stories, and singing songs. It was a great night, and I think we may have woken up a few people during the bus ride back…
