Before boarding the bus to Yamaguchi, I had the opportunity to speak with some Italian Scouts and they were all very friendly and spoke very good English. I swapped business cards with a few of them.

Once we were on the bus, everyone within the unit started to discuss their different Ho-Ho experiences; all of them sounded incredible!

We stopped 3 times at service stations during the journey, giving us the opportunity to buy things and use the toilets

Lunch was very pleasant, in my opinion, which was a box with 12 compartments, each with a different type of Japanese food in. A lot of people didn’t like the food because of the high content of fish, but I enjoyed most sections and ended up having 5 times more sushi than I should have had!

Lots of people slept on the bus, including myself; the air conditioning makes it a lot easier to relax.
